90, passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by her loving family November 15, 2012. She was born July 7, 1922 in Fairland, IN to the late Harry Cole and Lula Surpas Bishop. Frances had two brothers, Herbert and Webster Bishop, two sisters, Rosalind Bishop McDonald and Dorothy Jean Bishop, and a niece, Eleanor Jane Sharpe, who preceded her in death. Frances is survived by her loving daughters, Susan Frances Tellman and Sandra Malinda Tellman, both of Indianapolis; a niece, Marilyn Kirk, of Indianapolis; a nephew, Donald Geozeff (Betty), of New Castle; and several grand and great-grand nieces and nephews. Frances married Howard “Bud” Tellman, Valentine’s Day, 1950, at Zion Evangelical UCC, in Indianapolis, and treasured more than 59 years of happy marriage until his death, October 11, 2009. She was a member of Zion Evangelical UCC until her death. A wonderful wife, mother and friend to all, Frances was active in her daughters’ Warren Township schools, PTA and Girl Scout Troops. Along with her husband, she was a dedicated poll worker for many years. Frances worked in her early years at Schwitzer-Cummins during World War II and as a beautician at The Marigold, retaining her beauty license for more than 60 years. She later became office manager at Exhibition Decorators and Expo Design of Indianapolis. Visitation will be held Sunday, November 18, 2012, from 2:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at Shirley Brothers Washington Memorial Chapel, 9606 E. Washington St., with funeral services Monday at 12:00 noon.
